Voicing that Dave performs has been a life-long endeavor that was cultivated over umpteen years of LIVE and recorded projects as well as having worked several positions at various radio stations in Southern Ontario and across Canada.
As a voice-talent under the VOX Talent umbrella in Toronto, Dave provided service to clients in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. However, he wanted to be more independent with his clients and their needs so to provide his services under his own name and website, PROfound Sounds opened the doors in 2022.

Who is Dave Currie?
I have always be interested in “voice-work.” Even at a very young age I was “imitating or mimicking” all sorts of cartoon characters and even real-life people with exceptional or VERY distinctive voices.
Over the years I’ve learned to hone my skills as a voice-talent and possess a whole arsenal of characters that I can use for various types of projects.
If you’re looking for a straight read – soft, medium or hard, a character for children’s books, cartoons, television or movies, I am ready with the voices you need.
Do you have a specific project that requires specific enunciation or diction — no problem. I have a soothing voice that works perfectly with children’s books, educational videos, instructional videos and so much more.
Now if it’s a voice-accent you are looking for such as English, Scottish, Italian or German, I have the skills. I believe every person has a passion for something! Mine is voicing!
